Green Specimen Scagliola Plinth with Ball Feet

$2,750.00

  • Description

Handmade plaster plinth with solid brass ball mounts.

Scagliola comes from the Italian word scaglia, meaning "chips". The ancient technique using fine plaster was created as a substitute for marble.

Artist Statement: I love the entire design process from the initial concept to mixing the plaster, sanding and polishing each object for hours. Each object is unique and original -  always slightly imperfect to show that it was all made by hand.
  • Specification

    DIA: 12.5" H: 2.25"
